How to use the schema markup generator

Choose a schema type, fill in the fields and the JSON-LD updates as you type. Copy the script and paste it into your page’s HTML, a custom HTML block, or your SEO plugin’s schema settings. Only add markup that matches content visible on the page.

Which schema type should I use?

FAQPage marks up a list of questions and answers on the page. Article describes a blog post or news article. Organization tells search engines about your company, logo and social profiles. LocalBusiness adds an address, phone and opening details for a physical business. BreadcrumbList describes the page’s position in your site structure.

Rich results are not guaranteed

Valid structured data makes a page eligible for some rich results, but Google decides whether to show them. Google currently limits FAQ rich results mainly to well-known government and health sites, though the markup still describes your content.
